Will Web3 replace Web2?

Web 3, with its decentralized technologies and focus on user control, has the potential to offer a number of benefits over Web 2. However, it is unlikely that it will completely replace Web 2 in the near future. The current infrastructure and systems that make up the internet and the web are largely based on Web 2 technologies, and it would take significant time and effort to fully transition to a Web 3 infrastructure. Additionally, not all services and use cases that are currently provided by Web 2 will have a direct replacement in Web 3. Web 2 and Web 3 are likely to coexist and interact with each other for the foreseeable future.
